This pace is part of the Virginia Martin Memorial Pace Series. The winners will be determined by the highest points accumulated across at least three of the Fall Windy Hollow Hunt & Quiet Creek Hunter Paces.

Event Details

• Divisions: Open, Novice, and Hilltopping

• Jumping: Optional, with go-arounds at all jumps

• Awards: Ribbons awarded to the top six in each division

• Entry Fees: $60 for adults, $35 for juniors

How to Register

1. Download and Complete the Entry Form

   • Each rider should complete their own form. If you’re riding as part of a team, please list your team members to ensure you stay together.

   • All team members must be in the same division.

2. Submit Your Entry Form

   • Email the completed form to quietcreek@optimum.net.

   • You will receive an email confirmation with your assigned team number.

3. Payment and Coggins on Event Day

   • Payments are due at the registration table in the pole barn after you’ve parked your trailer.

Get ready for some spooky fun at our Halloween Hunter Pace on Sunday, October 27th! Whether you come in costume or not, it's sure to be a day of excitement and friendly competition. Costumes are optional but definitely encouraged!

This event is part of the Virginia Martin Memorial Pace Series, where winners of this Halloween Hunter Pace and the upcoming Thanksgiving Hunter Pace will compete for top honors. To qualify, participants must ride in at least 3 of the Fall Windy Hollow Hunt & Quiet Creek Hunter Paces.

Event Details:

• Date: Sunday, October 27th, 2024 (Rain Date: The following Sunday)

• Start Time: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

• Divisions: Open, Novice, Hill-topping (Ribbons awarded to 6th place in each division)

Pre-Registration Details:

QUIET CREEK PRE-REGISTRATION PROCESS 

All entrants must be pre-registered before October 23rd

1.     Download and complete the Hunter Pace Entry Form. One form per rider and please list the other members of your team so we can ensure teams are kept intact throughout the process. (all members of the team must be in the same division).

2.     Email the completed Entry Form to quietcreek@optimum.net

3.     Your team number will be assigned and emailed to you.

4.     Payment is due on the day of the pace. Please bring copy of your current Coggins and payment to the Registration table in the pole barn after you have parked your trailer.

Make checks payable to Quiet Creek Stable LLC and if paying by cash, please have exact amount.

Our third annual "Patti's Ride" will be held on Sunday, September 27th. (rain date the following Sunday)

This is an "Open Trail Day" at the farm--the entry fee is a voluntary DONATION, all of which will benefit the "Warwick Valley Humane Society"--an organization that was dear to Patti's heart, and she supported for years. This way we felt we could honor her love of riding out, her favorite cause and offer a good ride and great day to all.

**We ask that you wear face masks at the Entry and practice appropriate social distancing while on Quiet Creek property.

** You will receive a map upon entry. All gates and passable trails will be open. You are free to ride at your own pace and pleasure (not leaving our 200 acre property) between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm.

** Helmets and current Coggins (and your own horse) are required

** Bring your cell phone, (just in case you get lost)

** Juniors must have adult/trainer signature and supervision at all times

** Hunter pace rules of riding etiquette apply

Thanksgiving Hunter Pace

Our Thanksgiving Hunter Pace will be on Saturday, November 30th. Hope to see you there and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This is the last pace to compete in for the Virginia Martin/WHH series. The points earned at this pace will determine the winners of the lovely coolers kindly donated by Green Valley Tack.

**Start- 9:30-12:30

**Three divisions: open, novice and hilltopping, Ribbons for 1st to 6th place awarded in each division

**Jumps optional; all jumps have go-arounds

**Adults: $50./Juniors:$30. Under 18 w/ parental or trainer signature

**Helmets/coggins, please

**Bring a pot luck dish to share at our lunch table, and tailgaters are welcome until 4:00 when we must close the fields for the night

We are happy to announce and offer our Competitive Trail Obstacle and Arena Obstacle Challenge for 2019. 

Sunday, July 14th is our Wizard of Oz Theme - Challenges on the trail and in the arena

Competitive Trail Challenge - Beginner and Advanced Divisions - Trail will be approximately 5 miles long and will take you over fields and river crossings and through forests, with several judged obstacles along the way. You are welcome to ride alone or with your friends. There is no set number of riders per group. 9:00 am - 3:00 pm with last riders out by 12:00.

Competitive Arena Challenge - Beginner and Advanced Divisions - This will test your trail skills with obstacles in an enclosed area. There's no official in-hand division but you're welcome to enter and school your green horse in-hand through the beginner course (minus one point per obstacle). Arena Challenge will take place from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. 

Ribbons to 6 places will be awarded in each division. Highest scorer in each division (combined Trail & Arena) wins either a day pass to Quiet Creek or entry into any one of our remaining 2019 Hunter Paces, for you and a friend.

Trail challenge $45 (bring a non competing friend with you $25)  Arena challenge $30. If you register for both challenges $65. You do not need to pre-register. Please email or call us with any questions.
